Jesús and Jesús Malverde on the Same Tomb in San Juan Cosalá, Mexico
I’ve only one question about this. OK, two. 1) Who was the missing third image on the left, the Virgin of Guadalupe? The picture would tell an even more imperfect story of Mexico. And 2) What criteria was used in the decision to place the bust of Jesús – not Jesús Jesús who we all know, but Jesús Malverde, the generally recognized patron folk saint of drug trafficking – in the middle position, relegating the small image of Jesús Christ to the side?
